Carl Phelpstead Author & Editor

Carl Phelpstead is Professor of English Literature at Cardiff University. His previous books are Old Norse Made New (2007), Holy Vikings (2007) and Tolkien and Wales (2011). He is a Member of the Welsh Academy, the International Society of Anglo-Saxonists and the Early English Text Society. He has served (since 2001) on the Council of the Viking Society for Northern Research, as Editor (since 2004) of the same Society’s journal `Saga-Book’ and as co-editor (since 2007) of its Text Series.
