Brooke Marshall Author

Brooke Marshall is a Lecturer in Law at the University of New South Wales, in Sydney. Before joining the University, she worked in Hamburg as a senior research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law. Outside academia, Dr Marshall has practised as a litigation lawyer at Allens Linklaters, Brisbane, and worked at the Dutch intergovernmental organization, the Hague Conference on Private International Law. She is a laureate of The Hague Academy of International Law Diploma (2016), and of the ICC Institute of World Business Law Prize (2021) for her doctoral thesis on the topic of asymmetric jurisdiction clauses.
