Trine �land holds is Associate Professor in the Section of Educational Research, University of Copenhagen. Her most recent book is Welfare Work with Immigrants and Refugees in a Social Democratic Welfare State (Routledge, 2019). Christian Ydesen obtained his PhD in Education (2011) on the basis of his dissertation The Rise of High-Stakes Educational Testing in Denmark, 19201970, published by Peter Lang Verlag. He is a Professor WSR in the Department of Learning and Philosophy at Aalborg University. Bolette Moldenhawer is Associate Professor with the Section for Educational Research at the University of Copenhagen since 2001. Her research focuses on the sociology of education, comparative education, transnational migration, racial and ethnic studies, as well as processes of welfare state transformation.
