Bertie Auld won 13 medals with Celtic in their astonishing rise to fame in the Sixties. He made his debut against Rangers in 1957. He left for Birmingham City four years later only to return in 1965. In his second spell he made 257 appearances and scored 85 goals. He also managed Hibs, Partick Thistle (twice), Hamilton and Dumbarton. He is now a matchday host at Celtic and a media pundit. Alex Gordon is an author and former sports editor of a national newspaper. His previous books include Celtic: The First 100 years and The Lisbon Lions. He now runs a successful sports news-agency and lives in Glasgow.
