Barrie Pierpoint Author

A highly recognisable and influential figure within the UK business sector, Barrie Pierpoint is perhaps best known for his remarkable time at Leicester City FC in the 90s. Barrie was instrumental in transforming and developing a loss-making business into a profitable one in his role as Group plc Chief Executive. In just nine years, he took the struggling club from a turnover of £2m to £24m and also oversaw its stock market flotation. Barrie’s association with football and the sporting world continued with roles as Chief Executive of Portsmouth Football Club where he provided stability and growth, interim Chief Executive of Bradford City Football Club where he restructured the company and oversaw the development and launch of a new £9m stand and as Chief Executive for a new consortium looking to take over Boston United Football Club.
