He is former editor of the Australian Financial Review and The Age, former business and economics editor of the 7.30 Report, former Chanticleer columnist for the Australian Financial Review and a former columnist for The Age and the Sydney Morning Herald. In addition to Eureka Report and its sister publication Business Spectator, Alan is the finance presenter on ABC News and host of Inside Business on ABC TV.
