Ayala Panievsky Author

Ayala Panievsky is a researcher, journalist and activist specialising in populism, news media under attack, and democratic backsliding at the University of Cambridge, devoted to advancing human rights and refugees' rights in Israel and Palestine.


She works with journalists around the world to improve the future of news and what we get to know about the world in times of a new and sophisticated threat to democracy. She is the recipient of many prestigious grants and awards, and her research has been covered in the BBC, Politico, ARD in Germany, ABC Australia and Al Jazeera.


She was born and raised in Israel and now lives in London.
