Dr Chinmayee Ratha, MS(ObGyn) FRCOG(UK) FIMSA FICOG is the Director and Lead Consultant - fetal medicine at the Resolution Fetal Medicine Centre and Research Institute, Hyderabad. She runs a fetal medicine practice catering to the needs of patients and clinicians from all over Telangana and even adjoining states. She is a passionate teacher and an FMF (UK) approved trainer for fetal medicine scans. She runs a clinical fellowship program for sub-specialty trainees in fetal medicine in India, including the ICOG certified fetal medicine course, since 2018. She has spent the last two decades increasing the awareness of fetal problems and available solutions not only amongst clinicians but also among the public through various information dissemination platforms. She is a popular orator and is known for the simplicity and clarity of her thoughts during her presentations. She has published papers in peer-reviewed, indexed journals and has received several awards and prizes for presentations of her research projects and audits at various state, national and international seminars. She is a member of several prestigious professional bodies like FOGSI, SFM, FMF, RCOG, and ISUOG, in addition to local bodies and has served in official positions in many of these organizations. She is currently the Chairperson of the FOGSI Perinatology Committee(2021-24) and the President of SFM Telangana Chapter (2022-24).

  

Dr Ashok Khurana commenced his medical studies at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. Apart from running a private medical facility with the vision of providing world class ultrasound services, Dr Ashok Khurana has to his credit, several academic and technological firsts in the city, including transrectal scans, transvaginal scans, color Doppler, 3D and 4D ultrasound and ultrasound guided surgical procedures.

He has authored two medical text books, one on 3D and 4D ultrasound and the other on breast ultrasound. He has contributed several articles on ultrasound in prestigious medical journals. This includes pioneering work in cancer of the uterus. Dr. Khurana is currently the Secretary of the Society of Fetal Medicine. He is a member of several academic societies where he has lectured extensively, conducted training workshops and chaired several scientific sessions. These include the International Society for Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Indian Radiological and Imaging Association, Indian Medical Association, Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India, Indian Academy of Human Reproduction and the Indian Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology. He is also a member of the FOGSI Genetic and Fetal Medicine Committee for which he conducts several academic exercises. His ultrasound facility is accredited by FOGSI for training programs. Dr. Khurana is also the former Clinical Director of the Test-Tube Baby facility of the Institute for Fertility Fulfilment, former President of the Indian Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology, Delhi Chapter and former Secretary, Indian Radiological and Imaging Association, Delhi branch.
