Tanmoyee Banerjee is Professor in Department of Economics, Jadavpur University, Kolkata. She did her Ph.D. from Jadavpur University in industrial organization. Presently, her area of research encompasses industrial organization, microeconomic theory, microeconometrics, microfinance, financial inclusion, gender analysis, and economic growth. She has undertaken various empirical research projects funded by national agencies of India like ICSSR and UGC. She has published extensively in reputed international journals. Arpita Ghose is currently Professor-Economics, Chair Professor (Honorary), Planning and Development Unit, Jadavpur University( JU) (NITI Aayog) and presently Dean Faculty of Arts, JU. She did her Ph.D. from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, and works in the area of disequilibrium economics. She has published her research in reputed national and international journals. At present, she is working on computable general equilibrium models, productivity and efficiency analysis using data envelopment approach and stochastic frontier models, and also on applied time series econometrics. She has completed projects funded by DFID-UNCTAD, Government of India, for Jadavpur University’s Trade Research Capacity Building Program; Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute, Calgary, Canada; UGC and ICSSR. Poulomi Roy is Associate Professor in Department of Economics, Jadavpur University, Kolkata. She did her Ph.D. from Jadavpur University on fiscal policy. Presently, her area of research covers public policy, economic growth, development economics, and gender analysis. She has undertaken various empirical research projects funded by national and international agencies like UGC and UNDP. She has published extensively in reputed national and international journals.
