These Persian, Indian and Arabic stories have no single author however, Antoine Galland was the first to translate and publish the eleven stories in Europe during the 18th century. Charles Berger, born in 1922, was a New York freelance illustrator and commercial artist during the 1960s. He is praised for his delicate and detailed panels.
