After several trips to North Africa during his University vacations, Anthony Gladstone-Thompson founded the British Centre in Casablanca in 1969. After seven years he returned to London to run his own language school, while raising a family and bringing Mauresque to fruiıtion. He now lives in East Sussex and France, while continuing to travel extensively in Morocco whenever possible. He has also translated the Moroccan travel writings of the French brothers Jérôme and Jean Tharaud, published by Eland as 'A Moroccan Trilogy'.
