Anthony Cooper Author & Editor

Anthony Cooper is the author of four books on aspects of Australian military history, including the award-winning ‘Darwin Spitfires’, and runs the supporting website, www.darwinspitfires.com, which includes additional material. His books so far have investigated a wide spectrum of air operations, such as air defence, maritime reconnaissance, close air support, air superiority, strategic bombing, and carrier operations across several theatres of war. He is a school teacher in Brisbane, Australia, and has a Ph.D in German aviation history, is a former RAAF air defence controller, and a lifelong reader, book collector, scale modeller, and wargamer.
