Editors Anthony Barboza and Herb Robinson have been active members of Kamoinge since 1963. Vincent Alabiso is president of the Visual Journalism Alliance. Quincy Troupe is an award-winning author. Herb Robinson is an original member of the legendary Kamoinge Workshop. His photographs are part of the permanent collections of major museums, including the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, J. Paul Getty Museum, and others. Quincy Troupe is an award-winning author. Among his notable books are 10 volumes of poems and Miles: The Autobiography, with Miles Davis. His work has been translated into more than 25 languages. He is professor emeritus at the University of California, San Diego, and edits Black Renaissance Noire at New York University.
