Fatma Outay is a senior researcher in Computer Science and Wireless Mobile Networks and Telecommunications. She holds a MS degree in Networks and Telecommunications from The National Engineering School of Tunis El Manar. Dr. Fatma received her Ph.D. in Wireless Mobile Networks and Telecommunications from the University of Paris Sud 11, Orsay, France. During her Ph.D and Post Doc at Telecoms Sud Paris, France, Dr. Fatma has participated in several national and international research projects in Wireless and Mobile Networks, in collaboration with Alcatel Lucent, Thales, Orange Labs and other academic institutions in Europe. Prior to her current position at Zayed University, UAE, as an Assistant Professor, Dr. Fatma has joined Bouygues Telecoms in 2012, which is one of the three main Telecoms Operators/ISPs in France, as a ""Wi-Fi Expert/Architect"" for three years enabling negotiation of SLA agreements and defining technical support and incident management processes with different contributors and suppliers implementing internal and external processes as per ITIL recommendations.

Prof. dr. ir. Ansar-Ul-Haque Yasar (EUR ING) was born in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He finished his Bachelors of Computer Software Engineering degree from Foundation University Islamabad in 2005. Afterwards, he joined Linkoping University Sweden and finished his Masters in Computer Science and Engineering degree (specializing in Communication and Interactivity) in 2007. In November 2007, he joined the DistriNet research group at the Department of Computer Science of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and started his PhD research on context-based communication in large scale vehicular networks under the supervision of Prof. dr. ir. Yolande Berbers. During the course of his PhD studies, Dr. Yasar was involved in the Context-Aware Local Service Fabrics in Large Scale Ubicomp Environments (CoLaSUE) project funded by the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO). After finishing his PhD in Engineering in August 2011, he has worked as a postdoc researcher and a (part-time) professor at the Transportation Research Institute (IMOB), Hasselt University, Belgium since October 2011. At IMOB, he is working on the European FP7 project DATA SIM (2011 - 2014). Furthermore, a part of his current job includes international collaborations, projects, and business development at IMOB. He is also responsible for the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) course for the masters of transportation sciences students at UHasselt. His research interests include ubiquitous computing, context-aware communication, VANETs, intelligent transport systems, and mobility management. He has (co -) authored several research articles in renowned international journals, conferences, books, and workshops. Furthermore, he has been involved in organization of many international peer-reviewed conferences, summer schools, and other scientific events. Dr. Yasar is also a Technical Expert to evaluate project proposals submitted to the EUREKA - EuroStars framework. Dr. Yasar is multi-lingual with Urdu & Punjabi as native languages, has working proficiency of English, basic knowledge of Dutch (Flemish), and basic knowledge of Swedish. Elhadi Shakshuki is a professor in the Jodrey School of Computer Science at Acadia University, Canada. His research interests include Intelligent Agents, Pervasive and Ubiquitous Computing,and Wireless Sensor Networks. He is the founder of the CIDS Group at Computer Science, Acadia University. He received his BSc degree in Computer Engineering in 1984 from Tripoli University, Libya, while his MSc and PhD degrees in Systems Design Engineering respectively in 1994 and 2000 from the University of Waterloo, Canada.

Prof. Shakshuki is the EiC of the International Journal of Ubiquitous Systems and Pervasive Networks. He serves on the editorial board of several international journals. He published over 190 research papers in international journals and conferences. He is the founder of the following international conferences: ANT, EUSPN, FNC, ICTH, MobiSPC, and SEIT. In addition, Prof. Shakshuki is the president of the International Association for Sharing Knowledge and Sustainability, Canada, and has guest co-edited over 20 international journal special issues. He is a senior member of IEEE, and a member of ACM, SIGMOD, IAENG and APENS.
