Margaret F. Rosenthal is associate professor of Italian at the University of Southern California, and has particular interests in 16th-century literature, and Venetian and Renaissance culture. Ann Rosalind Jones is professor of comparative literature at Smith College, and co-author of Renaissance Clothing and the Materials of Memory.
