Dr. Anand Narayan Singh has completed MSc at Bundelkhand University, Jhansi. He pursued his PhD degree from KGMU, Lucknow. During PhD, he worked on an ICMR project and gained experience of various advance and specialized biomarkers of prostate cancer. He has started his carrier as Lecturer in MLN Medical College, Allahabad. Currently, he works as Associate Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry in GSVM Medical College, Kanpur. Now, he has 11 years of teaching experience. He has published several research articles in reputed national and international journals. In addition to teaching, Dr. Singh also remains immersed in research work: he is Principal Investigator in two research projects, one is related to Pesticides and human health, and the other is on 25 Hydroxy Vitamin D, Oxidative stress and Antioxidant status in Ischemic Stroke Patients. He has recently completed an ICMR project regarding mycobacterium tuberculosis infection as co-investigator. Dr Seema Nayak PhD is Scientist in Medanta Holding Pvt. Ltd. Lucknow since 2019. She also worked as Research Officer in Department of Pathology, King George’s Medical University. She has done MSc in Biotechnology from D D U Gorakhpur University and PhD in Biomedical Sciences from King George’s Medical University Lucknow. Her PhD work is mainly focused on biomarker research in oncology. She is actively involved in research since 2006. She has vast experience in oncology research, biomarkers, advanced genetics, epigenetics, molecular and biochemical techniques. She has high impact publications in biomarker research and oncology. She has received women scientist fellowship from ICMR HRD-DHR in year 2015. She is a member of different national and international academic organizations and reviewer in various international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Rashmi Rana has received her PhD in Biochemistry from National Institute of Pathology, ICMR affiliated to GGSIP University, where she developed new mass spectrometry methods for analyzing phthalates in semen. She did her post-doc at All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Evaluation of antibiotic side effects. Currently she works as consultant in the department of Research at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. She received Young Scientist Award in Proteomics Conference held at Dubai, UAE. She was selected for Foundations of Clinical Research (FCR) 2022 run by Harvard University, USA. She is a Principal Investigator in four research projects related to dengue exosomal proteomics, role exosomes in glioma biology, theragnostic exosomes in glioma and transcriptomics analysis of pulmonary hypertension patients. Her main research interest is to quantitatively identify the protein signatures involved in human diseases including various cancers with state-of-the-art and highly sensitive mass spectrometry-based proteomic approaches. Presently she works on identification of protein-based biomarkers for early diagnosis / post-treatment surveillance and therapeutics of brain tumor (Glioma) and biliary tract cancer.
