Alison Falkonakis, is a British writer who lived for many years in the town of Leonidio in Arcadia. Alison has been shortlisted for the prestigious Bridport Prize for her poetry and her first two childrens books were nominated for a Public Award. Alison made the White Ravens list of 2015 amongst the recommended reading list for the whole world. Alongside her own writing, Alison has translated many Greek stories into English so that they can be shared across the world. Alison now lives back in the United Kingdom with her teenage children and their rescue dog Monty in a house with a wild garden and squirrels for Monty to chase. Illustrator and designer, Nearchos Ntaskas is also the founder of Polkadot Design. He started out in the early 90s making storyboards for animation productions around Europe.He has been highly involved with art creating fine quality illustrations and design for cultural organizations, museums and personal exhibitions. He has designed posters for Megaron the Athens Concert Hall, Lincoln Center NY and Acropolis Museum among others. His graphic design studies together with his passion for art have led him to explore various editorial and artistic fields. His work has been distinguished in American Illustration, European Design Awards, German Design Council Awards and EBGE awards.
