Milena Ivanova is a Byefellow at Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge, specializing in the aesthetics of science. Her project investigates the aesthetic values of scientific experiments. She is the author of Duhem and Holism and coeditor of The Aesthetics of Science: Beauty, Imagination and Understanding (Routledge).
Alice Murphy is a postdoctoral researcher at LMU Munich, researching aesthetic values in science, the epistemic role of imagination, and the use of scientific thought experiments and models. Amongst other works, she has recently published “Imagination in Science” (2022) and “The Value of Surprise in Science” (2021).
