Ahmad Al-Bazz Author

Ahmad Al-Bazz (b. 1993) is an award-winning photographer, journalist and documentary filmmaker based in Nablus, in the West Bank of
Palestine.

His two short documentaries – To My Mother (Palestine, 2014) and Homelessness (UK, 2018) – have received both international and regional awards including the Al-Jazeera Documentary Channel Award and the Alexandria Short Doc Award. His first feature-length documentary, Donkey Boys, is due to be released soon.

Ahmad’s work has been published in many media outlets, including Al-Jazeera, Middle East Eye, Vice, +972 Magazine and The Electronic Intifada among others.

He holds an MA in Film and Television Studies from the University of East Anglia and a BA in Media and Mass Communication from An-Najah National University, Palestine.
