Adriana Martins teaches Culture & Globalization, Portuguese Film and Portuguese Culture at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Film Studies and Culture Studies are among her research interests. Her latest book is Plots of War: Modern Narratives of Conflict (co-edited with I. C. Gil, 2012).
Alexandra Lopes teaches Theories of Culture, Translation History and Theory at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Her research interests are literary translation, translation history and culture studies. She has published on culture and translation studies, as well as translations of works by Peter Handke, Hertha Müller, William Boyd, Salman Rushdie.
