Michael Karam has written about wine in Decanter, Harpers, Drinks Business and on jancisrobinson.com. He has edited and contributed to a number of books. His own book, Wines of Lebanon, won the Gourmand Award for the Best New World Wine Book, 2005. He is also the author of Arak and Mezze: The Taste of Lebanon and Michael Karam’s Lebanese Wines. Adam S. Montefiore is a wine trade veteran and winery insider turned wine writer. Born in London, he moved to Israel and worked for many years for Israeli wineries and established Handcrafted Wines of Israel. He is now the wine writer for the Jerusalem Post. Adam is the biographer of Domaine du Castel and Golan Heights Winery, as well as author of The Wine Route of Israel and Wines of Israel. Demetri Walters MW is an independent wine consultant, seasoned wine judge, wine educator and presenter, who formerly held both retail and trade-orientated positions in the UK wine trade. Demetri’s Master of Wine thesis was on Cypriot native grape varieties, which brought him back to his family background in the island’s wines. He is a vocal advocate for Hellenic wine culture, and those of the Eastern Mediterranean.
