She is the Chief of Gynecology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, where her focus is on pelvic reconstruction. Lih-Mei Liao is Lead Clinician of the Women's Health Psychological Services at University College London Hospitals. She is a co-founder of Critical Sexology Seminar and the European Network for Psychosocial Studies in Intersex/Diverse Sex Development.
