Aaron S. Gross is an Associate Professor of Jewish Studies in the Theology and Religious Studies Department at the University of San Diego, and the Founder and CEO of the nonprofit advocacy organization, Farm Forward. Jordan D. Rosenblum is the Belzer Professor of Classical Judaism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is the author of The Jewish Dietary Laws in the Ancient World and Food and Identity in Early Rabbinic Judaism, and co-editor of Religious Competition in the Third Century C.E.: Jews, Christians, and the Greco-Roman World. Hasia R. Diner is the Paul and Sylvia Steinberg Professor of American Jewish History at New York University, with joint appointment in the department of history and the Skirball Department of Hebrew and Judaic Studies. She is also director of the Goldstein Goren Center for American Jewish History. She is the author or editor of over a dozen books, including We Remember with Reverence and Love: American Jews and the Myth of Silence After the Holocaust (2009), winner of a National Jewish Book Award and the American Jewish Historical Society's Saul Viener Prize, and Roads Taken: The Great Jewish Migration to the New World and the Peddlers Who Led the Way (2015). She is a co-editor of 1929: Mapping the Jewish World (2013), winner of a National Jewish Book Award for anthologies. Jonathan Safran Foer is Lillian Vernon Distinguished Writer-in-Residence at NYU, and author of Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Everything is Illuminated, and Eating Animals.
