Himanshu Upreti is an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering and Technology, BML Munjal University, Gurugram, Haryana, India. He obtained his doctorate from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, India. His research interest includes topics from fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer analysis. He has authored and co-authored more than 40 research articles in SCI/SCIE and SCOPUS indexed journal. He is also member of the Indian Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (ISTAM) and National Society of Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power (NSFMFP).
O. D. Makinde is an Eminent Professor of Applied Mathematics and Computation with over 26 years of professorial experience in South African universities. He currently holds an affiliation with the Faculty of Military Science at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. He has received the 2011 African Union Kwame Nkrumah Continental Scientific Award for contributions to science in Africa, as well as the 2009/2010 T.W. Kambule Senior Researcher Award in South Africa and the 2014 Nigerian National Honour Award (MFR). He is a fellow of the African Academy of Sciences (FAAS), a fellow of the International Academy of Physical Sciences (FIAPS), a fellow of the Papua New Guinea Mathematical Society, and a fellow of the Nigerian Mathematical Society (2023). He is on numerous academic journal editorial boards. He composed and edited around 10 applied mathematics research works on fluid dynamics and heat transport. He is the Southern Africa Vice President of the African Mathematical Union from 2022 to 2026.
A. J. Chamkha is a Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Dean of Engineering at Kuwait College of Science and Technology. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University, USA, in 1989. His research interests include multiphase fluid-particle dynamics, nanofluids dynamics, fluid flow in porous media, heat and mass transfer, magnetohydrodynamics and fluid-particle separation. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Nanofluids and has served as an Editor, Associate Editor or a member of the editorial board for many journals such as ASME Journal of Thermal Science and Engineering Applications, International Journal of Numerical Method for Heat and Fluid Flow, Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, Journal of Porous Media, and others. He has authored and co-authored over 1250 publications in archival international journals and conferences. His current h-index is 138 and total citations is 58,333. Professor Chamkha was included in the World's Top 2% Scientists 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 lists (by Stanford University) with a Global Rank #21, #20, #23 and #14 out of a total of 92,645, 109,724, 121,447 and 133,525, respectively and Rank #1 at the Arab World level in Mechanical Engineering and Transports category for all these years.
