Many of London's famed party places started out as illegal venues in abandoned warehouses, railway arches, derelict market halls or huge deserted factories which makes them interesting not only from a cultural and sociological, but also from an architectural point of view. After documenting the charms of Parisian brasserie culture last year, photographer Henk van Cauwenbergh now captures the essence of London's buzzing clubscene and the city's most iconic nightlife venues.
