This first illustrated book in English about the work of Yeh Shih-Chiang, one of Taiwan's most reclusive and enigmatic artists, is groundbreaking and timely. Constellations: Yeh Shih-Chiang, Yeh Wei-Li presents the extraordinary life and work of Yeh Shih-Chiang, curated by renowned curator Chang Tsong-Zung (Johnson Chang) and reimagined by Taiwan-US artist Yeh Wei-Li. The volume showcases the deep affinity between two artists who, despite never meeting, share intersecting journeys.

Yeh Wei-Li has been dedicated to reimagining and recreating the life and living spaces of Yeh Shih-Chiang since 2015. This includes archiving and restoring his printed materials, artworks, and inanimate objects, as well as curating and designing exhibition and architectural structures. The book captures this ongoing journey, featuring more than 120 color plates that highlight the visual richness of Shih-Chiang's work.

Additionally, Constellations includes texts from leading international and regional art critics and scholars. A defining introductory essay by Chang Tsong-Zung sets the stage for understanding Shih-Chiang's impact on contemporary art, while contributions from notable figures such as Corinne Diserens, Cheng Tsun-Shing, Boris Groys, and Tseng Shao-Chien enrich the narrative, offering various perspectives on the artist's legacy.
