The Bohemian town of Litomyšl is a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to its impressive marketplace and renaissance castle. Supported by architectural ambition, Litomyšl has been developing since 989, and has become visible through numerous outstanding interventions. From new construction to reconstruction, from urban space to street furniture, from small intervention to self-assured statements, the impact of architecture shows in Litomyšl.
The topics addressed are the potential of the city, the political dimension of architecture, and tendencies of new Czech architecture.
