Osteuropaische Betreuungskrafte in der hauslichen Pflege

The support of elderly people in Germany by carers from Eastern Europe has become a well-known and popular form of care. Despite its widespread use, it contains many weaknesses in terms of nursing quality, labor law design and ethical responsibility for those involved. Approaches to changed forms of design come from the scientific (social) ethical side and from the Federal Association of Diakonie Germany. They favor a mix of different actors: professional care, caring relatives and responsible agencies. The book shows existing problems and names possible solution strategies. It combines scientific principles with a practice-oriented approach. The home care setting can be designed with flexibility and willingness to redistribute tasks.
