Systemic Therapy has been scientific since 2008 and recognized under social law since the end of 2018. Only a rather small part of the psychosocial specialists currently trained in system therapy will find access to the health care system as a licensed psychotherapist. However, the systemic approach has long been used and valued in numerous areas of social work and related contexts. Although these work contexts often do not pursue a primarily therapeutic mandate, systems therapeutic knowledge and action are highly relevant there.
