Developing the Leader's Heart

1. Nationally recognized consulting and marketing firm, Artistry Labs, has been retained to provide publicity for the book launch. Andy White will be sending out the book for reviews and endorsements.

In addition, Andy and the Artistry Labs marketing team will put together video interviews of the author to be shared with other notable national influencers amongst the target audience for this book. Andy will also solicit interviews with major newspapers, magazines, radio programs which appeal to the target audience for this book and other likeminded book authors.

A website devoted to providing additional information on the book has already been established and more media/video content will be released there and other places to promote the book between now and the book launch. The author will be mentioning the book frequently in his monthly blog. In addition, a major social network marketing blitz will be launched utilizing Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Beginning three months prior to the publication of the book in August, 2020, an email campaign, along with paid advertisements will begin that reach the target audience for the book of aspiring church leaders and pastors. These ads and two monthly blogs will continue after the launch for the duration of 2020. Tentative plans include ads in Outreach Magazine, Christianity Today, Relevant Magazine, and more. Several author signings have been tentatively planned in bookstores and in/near Dallas Theological Seminary in the Dallas, TX area.

Developing the Leader’s Heart serves to introduce Christian leaders to the process that Jesus used to develop His disciples to fulfill their calling. In doing so, readers will be challenged to look beyond leadership skills and understand the deeper work God wants to do in the heart of leaders in order to accomplish His purposes through them.

Jesus began by seeking out twelve unqualified men. His training regimen was something the world had not imagined. He did not expound on the keys of leadership and organizational skills, instead He deconstructed their hearts, shaping them to lead in a whole new way—in a way that would transform lives and bring down kingdoms. These leaders were not merely coached by Jesus, they were formed by Him. In Developing the Leader’s Heart the reader will discover truths about how Jesus formed unqualified leaders into world-changers and how God takes His leaders today through this same process in order to accomplish His deeper purposes in their hearts and lives. It gives clear biblical examples of how Jesus dealt with His leaders through moments of transformational truth and gives insight into how to overcome burnout, discouragement and other roadblocks of the leadership journey.
