In 2021, Nine Arches Press initiated their nationwide Primers scheme for the sixth time, aiming to discover fresh and compelling voices in poetry. With Rishi Dastidar and Jane Commane serving as selecting editors, the team sifted through hundreds of anonymous submissions, ultimately narrowing the field to three standout poets: Kym Deyn, Estelle Price, and Fathima Zahra.
