Fighting a gale at night on an unfamiliar lee shore with half his sea-sickened crew below didn't put Roger Chisholm off sailing. But then having only one limb of four working properly did not put him off climbing, while an attack from a malignant brain tumor, simply spurred him to write.

These are only some of the things consultant radiologist Roger Chisholm has done after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, aged 27.
