Commercial photographer Peter Boulton recorded Hadleigh and its people in the 1940s and '50s. David Kindred has compiled an evocative selection of his photographs including: wartime work and VE Day celebrations; craftsmen; carnivals; fetes; sports days; and, disasters and the hunt.
