Surfing Your Solar Cycles cover

Described by Ana Isabel of Lightways Astrology as "wearing the right clothes for the right weather," this amazingly handy book really is a lifetime guide to your stars. Surfing Your Solar Cycles fits into the unusual category of being completely suitable for both astrologers and non-astrologers alike. Astrologers will be fascinated to use it along with transits for accurate forecasting, and non-astrologers will find it really easy to understand their present possibilities, potential pitfalls and spot the people who arrive like clockwork to help through each Cycle. A quirky and often irreverent guide, Neil's natural style of writing makes for a fun and inspiring read and whether you call it smart strategy or forward planning - forewarned is forearmed and this fascinating tour guide of the Sun's journey through our own uniquely-timed cycles will become a constant cosmic companion.

Some astrologers criticize Sun Sign astrology. That is like PhDs complaining about grammar school. In this merry little book, celebrity author Neil D. Paris guides us through some powerful foundational techniques. Even total neophytes can quickly test them against their own experience. Not only might they be intrigued enough to delve more deeply into astrology's wider world - they will immediately see their present possibilities illuminated. Steven Forrest, author of The Inner Sky, Yesterday's Sky and others. On the 'Moonkissd' Facebook page, I posted a tidbit about where you can juice up, find your energy and vitality (hint: look to your Sun's house in your birth chart) when Neil D. Paris came onto my radar. Neil was the principle astrologer at the Linda Goodman Institute (love her!), and judging from his new book 'Surfing Your Solar Cycles: A Lifetime Guide To Your Stars' (Wessex Astrologer 2012) Neil shares her fun, accessible and informative style. In a nutshell: when the Sun moves into a new house in your birth chart, you are given new lessons. Neil does a fine job of outlining your month-long themes, offering an "action plan" and warnings about the "flip side" of each cycle. Following your solar cycles probably the easiest way to begin to use predictive astrology in your life. So far I've only known of one book that teaches this so I am so pleased to have another resource. On a personal note: I found it hilarious that the days surrounding the beginning of my Twelfth House solar cycle, Neil suggested I'd have cosmic connections with actors and filmmakers, when lo and behold, a new client, actor-filmmaker, arrives in my life!
