Pity for Pamela

The background on Pamela, a poor little rich girl, who even after the abandonment by her mother -- who ran away with Harry Lind -- sustained a love for her which was unreturned. And when Harry gravitates to Pamela, and her money, Pamela's loyalty overrides the attraction she feels toward Harry, and she is faced with the knowledge that he has killed twice (her father and her aunt) and that he will kill again... A sustained narrative with emotional rather than enigmatic values.
