This children’s, teenage & educational paperback, "Moon Dog Softback" from Wayne Anderson & Helen Ward, was published 1st June 2006 by Templar Books.
Moon Dog lives with his owner the Man on the Moon. Once a year the moon is invaded by fairies on holiday to the moon, and these wicked creatures cause all sorts of trouble. When this happens the Man in the Moon locks himself away in his house and pretends he's somewhere else. But Moon Dog wants adventure and so lets himself out the back door and goes in search of new fairy friends. This is an enchanting story with stunning pictures that seem to glow off the page. The fairies are mischievous, fickle characters, which makes a nice change from the usual pink and fluffy fairy you see in children's books! There is plenty in this book for a range of ages. Younger children will like the dog character and lovely pictures, while older children will understand the moral behind the story and emotions felt by both Moon Dog and his owner. A lovely story. * My Books Magazine *
