Holding Hands Together

A collection of poems and verse by The Rev Alan F T Evans. This book is a collection of verses and poems written by Alan over the last 30 years. Alan has compiled his works into this form, in memory of his beloved wife, of nearly 58 years, Audrey. He wanted to honour her. She was his constant companion, strong, loving and Godly. Alan served as a minister from 1969 and beyond his retirement in 2004. He has always believed that serving God was and is, the highest calling anyone could follow. He has shown that God loves all people and wants all people to know His love. Alan has a phenomenal capacity for love, soaked with humour, as is evident in these verses. Audrey had a phenomenal capacity for love, which showed in the endless serving of others with grace and care. Family & friends, on Alan’s request, have provided the illustrations. These have come from great grandchildren, grandchildren and children, some are young (4years old upwards) some are not so young… Enjoy!
