My goodness - my Vitiligo Man book has just arrived. I LOVE it! It brought tears to my eyes! I can't wait to share it with the children at school and I will definitely order a few more for our library. Thank you for writing this. I can't wait to tell the children that I have superpowers too! - It's so important for the children of today to be educated on skin conditions such as this which will enable them to create a supportive and diverse tomorrow! - We received our book two days ago! Great job Shankar! My son and I had a great time reading it together. He now says I should be called Vitiligo Woman!; - I just wanted to say first, it is amazing. Made me cry because you captured how I felt as a child and even as an adult growing up. Thank you! Also, I shared the book in clinic and everyone loves it!; - I have just read my copy of The adventures of the Vitiligo man. It's wonderful. Such a simple message and perfect for children. have for the last 35 years had 'what have you done to yourself and is it catching asked of me like the character Awais in the book. I feel if children and their parents know about differences like vitiligo and aren't afraid to ask and listen like Awais' friends in the book the world would be a kinder place; - I have freckles too, and if someone had told, me at a young age, that each freckle was like a magic star - it wouldn't have taken me this long to love all of my freckles.; - The most brilliant story about a boy with skin differences...a must for all children. After all, it's just as important that we teach the young to accept others in their skin as it is to teach them to feel happy in theirs. - My son asked us to read it 3x yesterday he is 5 and I don't think he fully understands why it resonates with him yet- but it does .
