American was born in blood.

1607. With King James on the throne, thousands of miles away, in Virginia, the English have established Jamestown, a tiny foothold on a vast, untamed continent and a powerful symbol of their colonial ambition. I want to start this review by saying that this book is probably the best I've read this year. The action is second to none and the violence is on par with what you expect from this era of history. Overall I loved this book and I will be buying all the preceding novels at the earliest opportunity * Two Bald Mages *
