HEATHER WIDDOWS is a Lecturer at the Centre for the Study of Global Ethics, University of Birmingham, UK. Her research interests include the foundations of moral values from a philosophical perspective, including moral realism, relativism and universalism; communication across belief-systems and value frameworks in the context of liberal democracies. Her publications include The Moral Vision of Iris Murdoch in addition to articles and book chapters on all her areas of interest.
