John Brodie's Portobello... Plus a Little More

The latest local history book from Archie Foley and Peter E Ross stems from a highly successful exhibition, Portobello in the 1950s and 1960s, held in Portobello Library in September and October 2019. This featured photographs created from the collection of over 100 colour slides of outdoor Edinburgh amassed by local amateur photographer, John Brodie. Archie and Peter have added to the ones that were on display then, and also included scenes from Portobello's neighbours such as Duddingston, Craigentinny and Niddrie, and as far afield as Abbeyhill.
