Man from Yesterday

When retired detective Lieutenant Jack Lehman insists on investigating a half-million dollar robbery, his family begins to do some serious worrying because no one else has even heard of the alleged incident. Surely a crime of that magnitude would have been reported somewhere. Worse yet, Jack can't even remember the name of his telephone informant nor, for that matter, the identity of the victim. This is an unusual novel seen through the eyes of a purported Alzheimer's victim, an exciting mystery/suspense story operating on at least two levels: as a psychological thriller and at the same time, one that provides insight into problems raised by an older adult's disease.
