Proceedings of the Sixth and Seventh Annual Meetings

A continuation of the UPA series of the FCHS meetings (see also, Proceedings of the Fourth Meeting of the French Colonial Historical Society, and Proceedings of the Fifth Meeting of the French Colonial Historical Society), the format of this collection of papers presented at the sixth (Indiana University, 1980) and seventh (University of Southwestern Louisiana, 1981) meetings of the French Colonial Historical Society follows the dictates of subject matter rather than time and place of delivery of each essay.
