ASME Industrial Demineralization (Desalination)

This report outlines the results of the ASME-sponsored workshop to address the challenge of rapidly diminishing availability of freshwater for industrial purposes across the United States, along with potential actions that merit further investigation. It is intended to serve as a compilation of initial ideas regarding best practices and potential future initiatives to reduce the use of freshwater in the industrial sector through the implementation and use of demineralization systems.
