A History of Golf

This history starts at a time when golf was merely gaining a foothold, the late nineteenth century, and travels through the era of golf's first Great Triumvirate - Harry Vardon, J.H. Taylor and James Braid and on to the era of the so-called 'Big Three' - Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Arnold Palmer.
