Many of us are attracted by the thought of pilgrimage. This beautiful book encourages us to reflect on its meaning and to see our lives as a journey of discovery. The author combines her own text with quotations from a range of writers through the ages. The book is illustrated with evocative colour photographs of pilgrim ways and sites around the world - including Santiago de Compostela, Lourdes, Iona and St Peter's Square in Rome - as well as landscapes reflecting our search for truth and inspiration.
