This book analyses almost two thousand legal judgments from around the world that directly concern human rights such as housing, health, social security, and education and demonstrates that such social rights litigation can have an impact on social disadvantage when appropriate remedies are given and when there is adequate follow-up.In the space of two decades, social rights have emerged from the shadows and margins of human rights jurisprudence.
