Group work is a major dimension of an occupational therapist's role. This book aims to explore the theory and practice of group work in psycho-social occupational therapy.Written primarily for occupational therapists, this text explores the range of groupwork activities used within occupational therapy practice. Part one tackles theoretical aspects, while part two considers practical approaches to group managment. The text includes specific chapters on how to plan, lead and evaluate a group. Guidelines are provided on how to approach some of the common problems which arise in groupwork.
